I just found on youtube: Teddybears picnic from 1932's orchestra Henry Hall who is also the singer: ...sooo funny, you almost can hear the bears heavy footsteps...
At the end he sings: If you go down in the woods today you better go not alone...
So, LK members: we better could ask Mannike to be our guide ! )

@ Manu & Fleur-- My husband also thinks I am a little "cuckoo" for watching these cams so much! He will look at them when I point something out & he says, "yes, that's nice, dear." But he really doesn't "get it." And I too have bad arthritis in my knees & back & can't go out in nature (or even my own garden/yard) to do much of anything like I used to do. So the cams are very enjoyable for me. I learn a lot from them about a part of the world I was not familiar with, & about animals both similar to & different from those in the USA, & about people I would never have met before. :2thumbsup:

:puzzled: An odd sounding call in the forest. Is it a bird? Or some animal I am unaware of?

Good morning,
the sound reminds me of jays or raven..but I'm
not sure at all. Calling and shaking the wings??
Those sounds that raven make when they are
"talking" to the partner ...
Kitty, how nice that you can make video's of all
that, thanks!
Listened once again: is that bird maybe taking a
bath in some puddle and do we hear the wings flapping in the water?

A bird flies to the left :puzzled:
I think it is the same that Kitty heard ?

First, two birds on the right, then one bird fly to left and back to the right

@ Fleur, the bird in you video does sound a bit like the one I got in my video of the unknown calling. I wonder what it was?

Am I dreaming,do I see a bear between the two small pines on mid-right at the back :puzzled:
Dreaming yes,...same seen in yesterday's pic, must be a mound of ground. :slap:
