In Estonia most of the mammals are hunted and that is the reason why the mammals afraid of the humans so much. So if we go into the forests near Alutaguse bear hide we dont have any reason to afraid of brown bears, they afraid of us. And our guides never wear rifles. In Alutaguse area humans live together with wildlife, locals see brown bears often and they are use to each other.ergee wrote:Probably Mannike could give the right answer?
People seem to think (or even know) that a bear in the daytime would not be too dangerous and would run away; and maybe the man was not alone in the woods...and living not far away from the feeding ground and knows how to behave.
The motorbike man also seems to come alone..
Those people in front of camera where just mushrooming and most probably didnt know that this is online web camera.
