It is going all over the clearing looking for tasty treats. It eats a little here, then goes to the back & eats a little there, then to the side, & on & on.
Thank you for that information, Jan. I can only hear them faintly, so it is hard for me to know if there is one or are two. Actually, when I first heard it (before seeing your post telling about pygmy owl) I thought it was my breathing as I have asthma that flares up sometime. I thought, what, so I need to use my inhaler now?"
