Hello! I saw the boar this morning as it wandered through the clearing at dawn & went through the area.
The boar returned to the clearing briefly.

on a walk in a park on a beautiful early Sundaymorning...

Bear! Getting a recording now. . .
Edit, 2:31-- Bear is still there eating behind the bush at the middle.
Edit, 2:43-- TWO bears! (video pending)
Edit, 3:05-- Oh no! Somehow I lost the video of both bears together. Darn it!! There was a larger, darker one eating behind the pine tree & at one point it drove the other away. But now the first one has returned & is eating behind the bush again.
Edit, 3:09-- But now the other has returned & they are facing off against each other again! And I am recording.

I am making a very long video. The two bears must know each other. They will eat near each other, but the larger drives the other away every so often by making a funny sound & being a bit aggressive. I wonder if they are related, perhaps a mother & her grown cub? Now they have gone, so I will try to get the video processed & uploaded to Y-tube.

Goodnight, Macdoum! It is only 7:20pm in the evening here, so I don't think I am in danger yet.
Oh wow, the bears are back!

Here they are. The two bears seem to know one another, but there is also some competition for the food stores.

The raccoon dog would like to eat, too, but it does not trust the bear that is still there eating at one of the food piles.
4:10 am-- The raccoon dog still lurks in the background. The bear finally gets up & moves from one food pile to another.

I think the bear is gone now. Y-tube was so slooooow that I had to close the media player while uploading & now I do not see the bear. It has been an exciting hour.
