Re: Small Bird Feeder Camera 2010-11
Isabella
The little stripey bird looks rather like our Pine Siskins -- so that seems logical to me.
I took many captures of the nuthatch because I love them, but yours is much better so I will post this Tit of some sort, instead of the Nuthatch.

When two Pigeons come to the feeder it is chaos, when three come it is Total Chaos!
I did not capture the three -- probably I was too busy watching to push the clicker.

That kind of bird visited, I didnt get good picture of it.
But I saw, it has very light eyes (or iris of the eye)- well, the eyes cant see on the picture at all, unfortunately.
I think, it was a Jackdaw(?)
Edit: I think Venegor has captured the same sort of bird, here

For small bird lovers (& others, too), I thought I might share a cam site very near to where I live. There is a koi pond, several birdfeeders, as well as seed on the ground for birds & other creatures, & in summer one of the 3 cams has a hummingbird feeder. Also music & a chat board. These cams are located about 10 miles southwest of my home in a suburb of Kansas City, Missouri. They are on 24 hours per day. Our time zone is UTC-6 hours, or 8 hours behind Estonia time. We are at the time of this posting, coming up to sunset in about 20 minutes or so.

At night you may see real North American raccoons or opposums. During the day, our native squirrels, chipmunks, even occasionally a rat (! Tom & Liz believe all creatures must eat), & of course, neighborhood cats. And quite often, Tom & Liz, the owners, are on cam as well.

Kitty! Thank you for this link http://www.tomnliz.com/Livecam/ , it is very exciting. Good that below on the page are pictures of the birds who might visit (without it I would be in trouble ). These birds are so exotic to me, much to study!
Now there are squirrels, but earlier (about 8-9 am Kansas time, I saw many colourful birds-Bluejay, Red-Bellied Woodpecker and I think Cardinals
Thanks again

You are welcome! I am glad you are enjoying our American birds. As winter gets colder here, & snowy, there will be lots of action at Tom's feeders. And as the winter goes into spring & summer, you will see the American goldfinches turn from drab olive-yellow to bright lemon yellow. Also, the garden & plants around the pond get quite lush when spring & summer arrive. Tom or anyone else is always willing to answer your questions on the chat board, too. He likes to talk of his koi fish.Isabella wrote: Kitty! Thank you for this link http://www.tomnliz.com/Livecam/ , it is very exciting. That is amazing I see the yellow hammers on the pig cams -- a bunch of birds flying together but I had no idea what they looked like up close.asteria wrote: The first one is a willow tit, the second is a yeallow hammer.
