Pigeons are so annoying...they wont go away....making their voices and struggeling... :banghead:

12:35, Feeder is completely empty and no birds! Somebody is cutting wood with a power saw.

Please, bring some seeds to the feeder!

LK Library's book of the month http://www.looduskalender.ee/en/node/2706 this time is for children, about small birds (mostly) like the ones in the Small Bird camera here; Estonian text, but really lovely drawings!
It tells about Helle and Ville who first learn to know & feed birds, and then get to build nesting boxes.
It also tells (p 41-42, pdf version) that power companies put up posts with plastic 'wheels' for stork nests, because there aren't all that many carriagewheels around any more (and to be honest, to keep storks off the real power line posts too, nests are HEAVY) :innocent:

I cant belive my eyes, the seeds are eaten already :slap: these pigeons are greedy, poor Mr. Birdfeeder he has to put again the new ones or built a smaller house where pigeons dont fit in. :mrgreen:

Mr Birdfeeder talks with someone and teaches how the feeder works. And he puts new seeds.

but they spoil so much... they really throw the seeds on the ground..where
other birds find this food...ok so let them...
