Many thanks for the welcome, Felis, and the advice on capturing the bay in all its colours. I'll look forward to trying it out. I just took a peep in the dark. Nothing to see, of course, but the sounds took me right back to Estonia - the sea splashing against the rocks and ropes slapping against masts or flagpoles in the wind.

Today much is going on on the beach. People went for a walk, dogs were playing and some people collect garbage and sweep the ground on the shore.

21:19 - A pink horizon this evening:

Sunday morning we will experience the largest and most impressive full moon in 2012. The reason is that the moon is especially close to the earth, and that it is full. The moon is 30% larger and 30% more bright than usual. It will be closest at 06:34 estonian time, and one minute later it will be full.

Lussi, thank you for the information.
I have been reading about Supermoon.
http://www.learning-mind.com/super-moon ... -may-2012/

"The fact that the perigee is over time associated with tremendous natural disasters, as well as with social uprisings, has made Nasa create a video that explains what is going to happen on 5 and 6 May, 2012."

Disasters?
Social uprisings?
The Titanic???

It's an interesting article

There are people present -- including a small child who seemed to be squealing in delight.

Nice that you found it interesting. We had a very clear night here, so we was out and admired the super moon last night. We also took pictures but it's difficult for amateurs to get them good. We had plans to get up early to see when it was at it's closest, but we overslept..
Gaby, your pic of the (super) moonlight is beautiful :2thumbsup:

Another sunny day, and people are enjoying it:
-A person is walking on the shore, and two kids (just my guess) seems to find something interesting in the water..
Image
- climbing up the ladder:
Image
- someone is waiting on the roof..

Here the fullmoonnight was windy and cloudy. Most of the time the supermoon was behind thick clouds, but I'd good luck to watch the moonrise. It looked so beautiful in the few minutes during he was coming higher and higher behind the trees.
Amateur-pics of the fullmoon - I know this: In my pics he looks always like a big white egg in the sky :rotf:

Here some views of this morning. I tried to catch some flying birds (in 1st pic only a seagull is sitting on the ground near the water)

10:20

Lots of voices. So far no people. It sounds like a school trip, lots of children and a teacher.

10:23
They appeared and walked past very quickly. They looked kind of old for how excited their voices sounded. Nice when kids are excited to be doing a field trip -- sounded like they were happy to be learning.

I'm surprised, how bright it is at Käsmu. Here it is almost dark at this time.
It is so fascinating to watch this.

:hi: Lussi! I am feeling much better, though I still get a bit short of breath & very tired & need a nap during the day.

It is still very lovely at the beach! A ship is crossing.
