well, could be! it sounded shrieky like a terns voice... but i don't know their voices. it wasn't an eagle, that's for sure.

i heard the "tern's" voice at 16.14 my PC time, so it would be about 16.11 camera time. i made a note of if because i started recording in hope to hear it again.
here's one clip with the evening glow shining on the shore.

and a little later the light turned blue....

I don't think that there could be some terns in winter in Estonia. At least in Latvia first terns returns from wintering sites in the beginning of April

:headroll: Cam came back online! Whee! I am so glad. Thank you, Fireblade, Fleur & Ame for all th pictures & videos to show how the afternoon was there on the beach. Such beautiful images of late afternoon & sunset, & to hear the sea's slushy, lazy waves slapping the ice on shore! Wonderful! I hope the cam continues to function better & better as the days lengthen. If cam was on till 17:23, that is 9:23 AM for me, & I will be able to see the last part of day (if hubby isn't using the computer for work). :loveshower:

the camera is still off-line. the weather seems to be lousy if the data on the weather is what is forecast for today: +1 degrees and raining snow&sleet. :slap:

but for tomorrow is promised clearing and sunshine for Thursday and Friday! actually the end of the week should be better, with Saturday maybe seing a bit so-and-so... let's hope it will be sunny. :peek:

i took a picture of the weather forecast for this week. it does not look bad at all. in fact it's rather promising, at least compared to what it has been recently. :innocent: it should be getting better maybe already tomorrow (if snow hasn't covered the solar panels today...)
