As Madis does not show up again to prepare the nest it seems he is not interested anymore in that place. No wonder, after that drama last year.
Ilmar, where are you???
The German ospreys did not waste time. The first osprey easter egg is in the nest in Federow, Müritz Nationalpark. Very busy, the ospreys there. The male has been there for 14 years now. Unfortunately no webcam on the net.

With what reason did Urmas justify it? This sentence standing alone seems a bit out of a context to me.Luz4711 wrote:...I asked Urmas a while ago if there could be another nest for Madis/Piret. He said no.

I don´t know whether anybody else has noticed it - there were/are a kind of driving sounds yesterday and today - maybe quite a distance away from nest and its close surrounding, but clearly to hear.Kukelke wrote:Has Madis been observed on the nest itself after his initial landing 1,5 day ago?
I find it a bit strange that I didn't get a single glimpse of him, when I had the camera on almost the whole time yesterday and today. ...
When there are still vehicles from military training range moving around, it might be that Ospreys still don´t feel safe there.
Or perhaps it were timber transporters ....

Has anyone seen, osprey itself came from fish or fish brought her Madis?

Is there a forum where only pictures are posted?
I will remove the pictures if it is not allowed here.

Don´t worry, IceAge ... it´s just beginning of the season ... everybody will find proper places for everything with a bit time going on
And if something should go to another place, we can move it.

1. The sentence is not standing alone, it was a answer to Kukelke. Please read her post.Bea wrote:With what reason did Urmas justify it? This sentence standing alone seems a bit out of a context to me.
2. I correct myself a bit for a second nest of Madis and/or Piret. Urmas said that he does not believe they have a second nest in the area. But he noticed 2 Ospreys about 2 km away from the nest and could not tell if it was Piret and/or Madis because they where visible for just a short time. This was end of September last year.

Both times no mating attempt for my opinion - he wanted her to fly away from the nest.Lucy wrote:14:42 Deterring or mating attempt?

Correct, but Oxana had a much 'lighter' face. This unringed female is darker in her face.Brit wrote:Oksana was unringed ....
