Ilsa :hi:
Sorry for answering late

The nest is "somewhere" in Tartumaa county -details about the exact location are not public, for the shelter of the birds.
County is not close to the Baltic sea, it is more central, but with big lakes east and west.

Here on page 1 of the thread you can find some more infos around the nest

Mr. Looduskalender says that the 11:30 fish from today was a Bream:
http://www.looduskalender.ee/en/node/17257

Now that we know that - one can see for a moment the anal fin of the Bream in Starlings video, compare at wikipedia
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Common_bream

Here an overview about the fins - anal fin is Nr. 7

Shape and color of fins are for me as a layperson a good point for identifying. When we get a good look at it ....

Bea, this is great :2thumbsup:
because I really can't recognize those silver fish, like Bream and Common Carp.
(I only know Mirror Carp...)
but the first thing that we need clever Ilmar brings those fish with head or complete for identifying.

Thank you, Bea, very interesting. I also read up on the White Tailed Eagle, which we do not have in Florida, only the Bald Eagle. Our Florida Bald eagles do not migrate, stay around Florida. They are also slightly smaller than the Northern Bald Eagles. Florida has the 2nd largest Bald Eagle population after Alaska.
Our Ospreys look the same like Ilmar and Irma.
I did not realize that Ilmar's nest was built by people. Once in a while people will put up a platform high up on a pole close to the river or bays/inlets. We do not band or ring them, some Northern and Western states mark them on the wings. Nice to learn all this.
