They do look like the two birds meierlein, Bea and me (and possible others too) observed earlier this afternoon. Also then they came from the right and flew towards the left.Starling wrote:17.24 Two birds flew on the background.

Initially we thought it to be main Osprey cam for Estonian part of ESTLAT project, but the eagles decided in other way. The pair there in territory, they build up other nest about 400m away and did not prefer our camera nest (though it is much higher).
At the moment I don't know if the branches are brought to nest by the same male of nearby occupied nest or is there additional individual sometimes visiting kalakotkas2 camera nest?
The nest cam was a bit out of focus but otherwise working well, and at the end of the season some osprey was seen there feeding a youngster sometimes Also Madis has been observed there last year. The nest itself looked to me (from what I can remember) in an ok condition, nothing what a determined osprey pair couldn't fix. Maybe Urmas can tell us more about this nest?Eden wrote:I remember this nest.
Wasn't it in a pretty desolate condition?
