Piret starts a feeding

Image

Edit: feeding ended 14.46; all 3 did not get as much as they would have liked, but the fish is finished, Piret swallowing the tail with a large piece of meat on it.

The last 2 days it is not always the oldest who gets his food first, but very often number 2.

Both always busy redecorating the nest: Madis arrived with an old pine branch, with mosses on it, Piret flew away and returned also with an old pine branch with mosses on ànd it has a pine cone still on it.

How strange :puzzled: number 1 lies on his back and has trouble getting upright. Piret came back and even then it tried to turn and did not succeed.

Image

MACKO , do you have it on video perhaps?

Edit: 16.44 it still is on its back.

It tries sometimes but doesn't seem to be able to get upright. I hope this is normal......Maybe when food arrives it'll give him the extra push.

Edit: 16.56 Yeah up on its feet again, pffffff

Since about an hour there is much unrest: Piret coming and going, calling very loud, gun shots in the background and no Madis yet with a fish.

Madis brought a fish.
And is feeding it himself

Edit: NO, it is even funnier, they are both feeding at the same time :loveshower:

Madis is feeding the oldest, but also eating a lot himself, Piret is feeding the 2 youngest.
Both parents are rather agitated.

Image

Edit: and suddenly an enormously strong wind comes up, both parents having trouble to keep their balance, and it starts to rain!

And hopefully it didn't experience anything bad from it. I don't know if it is bad for a bird to be this long on its back.
