I think those are cranes Alice.......do they have feral pigs in Estonia????? I swear I heard pigs grunting too....right after the cranes started calling

And now footsteps treading through water??????

They have wild boars -- so it might be possible. I do hear some splashy sort of noises.
And a wild pig winter feeding cam ;-)

I have heard that same sound when the Black Storks were in their nest and they were scared also. And I think Piret may have to shove Nori out of the nest, but this is not unusual because the last Osprey in the Latavia Osprey's was several days also to fly. :whistling:

It sounds like many feet -- not just one or two moose/elk.

I didn't hear any people voices, so it was probably a herd of wild boars.

Agreed Alice.....whatever it was it was not human....all of the little songbirds in the background kept on tweeting and singing....if humans were stomping around we would have heard nothing but silence....at least its that way when I'm out bird watching...

I have all the windows open here and it is hard to know what birds are here and which there although in the last 10 -15 minutes mine have gone to sleep.

Watching Nori's eyes track the world around her -- watching her watch things we cannot see as they fly by, is quite a treat.

I am off for a while

While Nori is watching the world, Elo is visiting her quite often this morning, but Elo stays just for 2-3 minutes and is demanding loudly fish, but nobody brings that fish. Didnt have seen Madis or Piret bringing a fish to Nori this morning, too.

btw: Nori is very active in sorting her feathers today... I hope this is a good sign for the first flying... Nori is doing now some jump exercises... soon Nori will be flying! :D

It's a part of the Nest (probably bark). Now it's off due some cleaning of the plumage :)

Not the first time that Nori is redecorating the nest... must be a female ;)
