And the fish is all dirty... It's so pitiful how the two that didn't get the fish cry and are almost despondent about not getting it. They can just taste it, poor things. Little Nori was triumphant this time at least. They are definitely not into sharing.

It looks like they fought over the fish so hard, the fish got debris and dirt shoved down it's mouth.
The woods are lovely, dark, and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.

Well described, 1st delivery was really chaotic with the three fighting quite a while till Nori got the fish, or what was left of it.Baltar wrote:Wow... Nori was alone at the nest... yelling, napping, yelling... and then came Elo or Uno... and Madis with fish!
really big and long fight for the fish... Nori didnt give up... and got the fish!
Now Elo & Uno yelling for another fish...
happy breakfast, Nori!
Madis must really think twice before bringing a fish, it is practically suicidal how the young ones throw themselves at him to get the fish.

Nori enjoys what's left of fish at part of nest close to camera - angry sibs with backs to her, or turning round and complaining, crying for fish. 7:26 AM

Baltar - I sent you a PM
A friend of mine who is a bird specialist told me that raptor females can start off small and then grow very fast when they get enough food to "catch up" - as Nori did. I think she is bigger than Elo, so she might have body-blocked her.
7:34 I think this is Uno over to the left
7:37 Uno took off - and UP - siblings watch him go
Good night for today (nearly 1 AM here)

I don't think little Nori really cared that her fish was stolen; she was already cleaning her beak before. Maybe that was her way of actually sharing...

I think Nori had enough of fish too.
Elo flew away after she ate the leftovers from Nori.
Then Uno comes there and looks for some small bites.
8.31 Uno flies off.

12.04:
Elo still eating now and then on his fish. Doesn't seem to be very hungry at all.
12.27:
Elo still standing on his fish, for almost an hour now. Only ate a small piece of it. It's raining and Elo looks tired, doozing of now and then.

12.35:
Elo finally takes of with the fish in his talon and Uno jumps down from the cam to look for leftovers. No luck, fish is gone.
12:39:
Wet and hungry little Uno takes of too.

I didn't look for a few minutes and now Uno is eating a fish! Anyone see the delivery? Must have been daddy Madis, I guess.
Looks like a very small fish though :(

Not Piret, she has already migrated and is down by the Black Sea having a nice vacation :) You can see her on the map, since she has a transmitter:Yoko wrote:Yes, delivery fish to Uno by Madis or Piret (?)
