Again a large fish for Piret, looked like a trout also.
Let's hope this one will last longer.

Piret was already calling for a while and was chirping with happiness when she saw the trout.

Madis on the eggs now.

Edit: and a ray of sunlight touches the eggs.

thanks jopie! But it was pure luck.

Was in another room when I for don´t know what time again during the last ½ an hour heard Piret call loudly, did look the other times too but she was just calling "without reason" and therefor I hesitated, but suddenly realized that this time it might be for some reason and ran to the PC and pressed a buttom in hope it was the right one. I was lucky.

The bark is in the way, so the osprey (I think Madis) wrestles it around & bites pieces off to put into the nest bowl. Then the mate returns (Piret, I think) & a change of shifts is on. The cam jammed for a minute.

About 9:48-- Shift change.

:hi: Alice, yes it was Madis, the male in the nest. You can recognise him by his ring on his right leg, amongst other things.

Piret stretches her wings several times and decides to go away.
I could have missed something but have not heard or seen Madis delivering a fish today :puzzled:
