Hello and Thanks, Maertha an Jo, welcoming me...it's nice to be here..

Nora is asleep. Regarding info on hatchling's timing..Dyfi has posted video and updated news on their blog, about the little one's first peep into this new world..

I'll need to figure out how to post a pic :puzzled:

Piret leaves at the same time as Madis arrived. Didn't see it quite good, but it seemed as if they almost collided. Second later Madis arrives and is on the eggs right now.

Edit: while I was posting this another quick change occurred? I am not sure who is on the nest right now :puzzled:

It is Madis and not at ease at all: looking around him all the time, and restless. Maybe because of the strong wind?

Very enthousiastic Piret, she sees Madis arriving with a large fish.

Looking at the tail, it seems to be a long, thin trout.

:hi: I watched the nest between 17:32 - 18:22. The same bird on the eggs all the time, it was the ringed eagle, Madis.

18:52 Piret is brooding the eggs. The wind must have died down. Not raining either. I hope it stays like that.

18:53 Piret appears to be restless. She´s shaking her feathers every now and then a little, and she sits more “fluffy” on the eggs
19:00 Sounds from “upstairs” – a visitor comes and sings a very loud song, Piret gets up
19:03/19:05 The female gets up for about a minute again, works with the soft nest material, rolls the eggs, changes the position
19:14 Some raindrops. I closed the cam

Piret appears to be restless. Visitor sings a loud song at 19:00

Piret back already. The only way to chase Madis away is starting to shift with branches. It works, Madis flies away.

20:00 I opened the cam and saw both for a moment. Piret stayed, Madis left the nest
20:12 – 20:20 It seems to me that she´s still restless. She gets up, rearranges the nest material, rolls the eggs, changes the position
20:25 Some raindrops again. Piret seems to become tired
20:33 Now she´s falling asleep every few seconds http://pontu.eenet.ee/kalakotkas/2012-0 ... -20-34.jpg
20:37 I closed the cam
