Hello again!
Madis brings a headless fish, tests if the chicks have appetite and starts feeding.
Piret jumps down from the cam.
Edit: she doesn't interfere and let him do the feeding.

Piret is blocking the view and I see at least 2 chicks who are not eating right now, so maybe it is the same old trick: Madis wants to eat with the family

It took Nori a while, but we may call it a tail now
Edited:
Looked at a wrong picture, and removed some sentences.

No, I removed it because I was wrong. It will look about the same tail as the other 2, in a few days.
I looked at the wrong picture.

Hello from yet another 'lurker' who has been following this fantastic osprey family for some months now. Irregular watcher at first, but ever since the first egg hatched I've become a devoted follower.
Just some observation today is that both at 15:02 and 15:29 Elo attacked Nori, and it seemed out of jealousy or something. Little Nori can be very greedy, and the last days I've even seen Nori snatch pieces of fish out of the beaks of his siblings. So maybe Elo got enough of this and retaliated, although Elo's 15.29 attack seemed unprovoked. There was a possible fight too, somewhere around 14:55 - I wasn't at the computer then, but heard the typical sound of when Nori is pecked at.

I was, until a few days ago, a silent watcher, but I made a lot of pictures, so I still think you are right about the tale.jopie wrote:Edited:

5:23 Madis delivered yet another fish, left straight away, and Uno(?) dug up a fish which was already in the nest and halfway burried.
A little later Uno decides to show off and demonstrates his flapping skills:
