 good morning
until now 3 well feeded chicks have slept in nest, and sounds from upstairs

9.43 first Piret jump in nest from upstairs and right after Madis arrived to nest with a nice size fish. Madis left after a minut or so and Piret began feeding. Chick 1 and 2 get as the first, chick 3 doesn´t seem very eager for the moment

10.01 feeding already done, chicks were not much hungry. Pret left nest

As for the colouring of the chicks, number 3 is becoming a "light one" just like number 1.
Number 2 is the only dark one.

Could it mean 2 females and 1 male :puzzled:

Waiting for daddy and a big fish...

@ birdie: The way it has grown lately, I think #3 has a pretty good chance to make it.

This video shows the delivery, the moment when Madis leaves the nest and the start of the feeding

Piret was "upstairs" 16:-16:37 (preening noises, wing tip visible)

Cherie wrote:Piret has gone away and did not return until the darkness came, i cant see if she has returned. Is this normal? We are a little bit concerned.
There´s probably no need to be concerned. Piret is often not visible for a while, but nevertheless she´s (almost always?) there. She seems to prefer a place on or above the camera then. This place is meant if sombedy in the forum writes "she´s upstairs". A clear proof of her presence ist sometimes visible: her shadow, or a wing tip very near to the cam, see picture 3 below. She´s also audible if you were headphones (little noises, a rustling every now and then).

Piret on the way up...

thanks Maertha for this  - so there was at least a delievery after the one I saw this morning

18.34 feeding from last delievery just ended, Madis came shortly to nest and then left
18.40 Piret left nest
18.41 Piret returned with a very long stick

Piret was out from nest to get more nestmaterial one more time and then then she flew upstairs 18.49
