Confusion all around.
Piret arrives at the nest with a large piece of fish: nobody there.
She looks around her goes to the other side of the nest, looks everywhere around her again.
And decides to do what's best: eat it herself.
I don't understand, Piret never eats in the nest I first thought it was Madis who brought a fish but it is Piret

Piret flew away with the fish and at a certain time an Osprey came to the nest with a fish, looked like Piret. Then Madis arrived also and Piret flew away. Confusing to me too.

I wasn´t supposed to have cam. open now, but then got the chance 14.09.
And everything looked calm and normal, Madis was in nest.
14.19 I heard noise upstairs and saw nest was empty
14.21 Piret came in nest - and I couldn´t understand that she didn´t settle on eggs until I realized that she hadn´t eaten all from her giant fish but brought some of it with her. It seemed that she didn´t like to eat on nest, was looking very much around as she wanted Madis to come back.
14.26 But at a time she did eat some bites from it, but then she decided to flew out from nest with the fish.
14.28 she returned to nest, had still the piece of fish with her and again she was looking around for Madis to come.
14.32 Madis arrived to nest, Piret left with fish and Madis settled on eggs. And he is still there
It was the way I experienced the situation - perhaps I have missed something, because I also tried to make screencaps meanwhile?
Really an unusual experience.
And now I have to close cam. again I think

BHP, it were 2 different fishes. The giant one, the 1st had much more colouring, the 2nd was silvery coloured. And she never eats at the nest, so I was confused at first. But she did came back with that last fish twice.

The information I have seen says that osprey eggs are incubated for 32-42 days, with an average of 38 days.
Egg #1 was laid May 7, so it has completed 35 full days - I think we must be in the window of time when it will hatch!
16:03 Madis is on the nest, he got up to move the eggs

Nancy, right, but we do not know if they start incubating right after the 1st egg or after the last, or, and that is also possible, after the fore-last egg. Fore-last egg was at the 10th of May, last one 13th of May. So, today it could also be the 33rd day of incubation, or the 30th day. I really don't know.

Maybe THAT was the reason Piret took the fish to the nest: she is expecting the chicks any day now and was confused

I didn´t think in two different fish because you described the fish Madis came with at 12.39 as a giant and I had just had a look at Punto too - and it was captured there. Yes, it looked really large indeed - here a selection of the Punto pic.
therefore I thought she perhaps hadn´t eaten it all and brought the leftover with her

But she got probably enough food during the day - she has been very silent during the last hour when I again had time for having cam. open

all. I forgot to watch during night time. Do the birds do as they do in daytime, flying around, eating and singing? I'll watch tonight.

By the sound Piret made, there must have been a fish delivery.

Madis brought a fish, not only did it had its head, but it was still alive too.

Piret again away from the nest. She is rather restless and disappears with a warning for Madis who took over already several times.
Edit: this time Piret back herself, calling and calling.
