This video is very interesting. It looks like Uno goes to Elo to make some place for Madis and push Elo intentionally aside (almost from the nest) by one action.

Do you think this is really intentionally or just a random positioning by Uno?


There are some other videos about the three and sometimes it looks like the same (preparing a landing spot, stand near and push the others somehow aside), but I am in doubt if this is really goal-orientated, because this would be a very complex social behavior. Does anybody have experience with this?

It is very quiet. Someone was close by - I don't think that on the camera because I couldn't hear any noise from upstairs. Maybe on some branch beside the nest?
Did Uno just drop in?

NancyM - you are back - I was afraid that we will be left without your detailed observations and pictures this morning. What a relief.
And... yes, UNO's visit was so short that I could see only a ghostly image. My video freezes a lot

6:20 Uno makes a brief appearance!



6:22 Uno flew away, but returned - cam froze for 30 seconds and in that time a fish was delivered!






A challenger (Nori, I think) arrives. Uno talks to the fish ("you are mine!)

Nori on nest on one leg looking around bobbing her head. now there are two yelling...and here comes madis with a fish. Nori got it..ohhh what a noise!!!!!! It is 12:15am here. (7:25 am nest time.) I had to turn down the sound. No work for me tonight. Dear dear Nori, shut up the beak and eat your breakfish please!!!!!!!!!
