IKat wrote:Good morning everyone....what a lovely day it is. I just watched Elo enjoying the fish breakfast and noted that he/she did what all the young ones do when eating. Have you noticed they seem to pull long pieces of something from the fish? They look like intestines....and when they pull them out they sort of place them to the side after making a horrible ugly face when they tasted it????? Ewwwwwww.....yuk......then they leave them in the pile.....(guess they're hoping that they will just dry up and go away)....they must taste awful.... :puzzled:

Wisteria wrote:No more railings on the nest - the left side is now so low it looks like a landing ramp. Watch out Nori, don't roll off in your sleep!

The friction from the branches and twigs in the nestbowl will prevent Nori and others to roll off the nest in their sleep.

Here the fish spaghetti goes down the hatch without any problems.

I think the main reason why they struggle so often with the fish spaghetti, is that it's hard to get a firm grip on it, rather then the taste of it.

Btw, I just love how Nori looks on this picture. Those feet combined with this serious, pondering look in his eyes.

Kukelke.....they really do eat it???? I just never watched long enough to see them do that.....YUK. I'll bet it is rather hard to hold one to and thats why they put it off till toward the end of eating....thanks.

Oh I must go for now.....am at work and need to do some real work.....later everyone....
