Nori seemed to "talon" the fish quite well earlier. I think if there were any swelling (or pain) in the talon or toes Nori would not be able to grasp a fish for eating. I noticed that even when he/she was smaller Nori's feet have always looked much larger than her/his siblings. Perhaps all the better for "fish grabbing" later. I also noticed they have all begun the one-leg adult type stand recently....normal for all birds to do.....gives the feet a rest. :D

Nori Is taking a power nap on a wind-tossed nest.

She hasn't been practicing like the other two yet. Maybe she realizes she's not quite ready

And, she has been standing in the same one-legged posture that the other two did. And she's always had big feet (don't mention it to her, she's self-concscious about it)

Someone upstairs?

a windy day. Nori has been alone in nest from I opened 8.56

9.21 just before this time I heard someone land upstairs and Nori "talked" but the eagle there flew after few minuts..............

9.29 next time I looked Nori was eating of the fish that all the time was to see in nest..........
9.35 Nori leaves the fish and warnig calls was heard from distance which made Nori went flat...........
9.38 one landed upstairs and some calls was heard a couple of times - sounded like Piret - Nori still flat.................

9.57 shadow of one upstairs is to see and Nori is now "sitting" on left nestrim. Still half a fish in nest

have a nice day at cam.

When the shadow from the bird on the cam support (Piret?) moves, Nori looks up.

The bird 'upstairs' settles down again, and so does Nori.

Looking at Nori's behaviour now I think I have to adjust my earlier prediction about Nori fledging today. He's by far not as restless as both Uno and Elo were on their Big Day, the moments before they plunged out of the nest and into the big wide world. Or maybe he's a smart lil' ospreylet and waits for the wind to calm down.

Btw, I wonder where Uno spent the night the last two days. Yesterday and the day before he wasn't on the nest when it became dark. If I was him I would perch on a branch right under the nest, so the nest would keep me dry if it started to rain.

Oh, and just before I was about to post this, suddenly both Uno and Elo landed on the nest. Do they maybe know that Madis will arrive with another fish soon?

It's starting to rain. Poor Nori.

Female ospreys are darker and slightly bigger than male ones, is that right?
Therefore I share the estimation of some other users who say Elo and Nori are female and Uno male.

As for the fledging date, Nori isn't late at all. Elo was one day earlier than Uno, if you look at the hatching date.
So Nori can fledge tomorrow (Elo-speed) or even Saturday (Uno-speed) without being late.

Dates:
Name: - egg laid - hatch date - fledge
S8 (Uno): - May 7th - June 14th - August 5th, early morning
S9 (Elo): - May 10th - June 16th - August 6th, morning
S7 (Nori): - May 13th - June 19th - not yet

Duration [days]:
Name: - breeding -until fledge - total
S8 (Uno): - 38 - 52 - 90
S9 (Elo): - 37 - 51 - 88
S7 (Nori): - 37 - ? - ?

Nori stood up and is looking very very interested in leaving the nest.
But now she is eating that good sized bit of fish

It made me wonder if there might be somebody eating a fish off in the distance -- or at least off the nest. That might encourage her to fly.

Now seriously cam off before I fall asleep here in the chair.
