15:43 - All three youngsters on the nest.

Image

Did they know Madis would be coming with a large fish?

15:46 - Large fish delivery by Madis.
Image

15:50 - Nori (who else ) claimed the fish and dragged it to the edge of the nest. Elo and Uno look, but can't do much at the moment. Although they tell Nori to hurry up.

There was a fish delivery and Nori took the whole fish. Maybe she was thinking "This is mine, you can fly, get your own fishes!"

it's no need for moaning about transmitters here - for that topic there's a new thread.
(but i wonder if here are users who have an comparable experience and competence in this topic as Urmas has).

16.03: Seems like Nori managed to eat the whole head self. Good job, Nori!
Then he dragged the fish back into the middle of the nest and let Elo get some of it too.

16:03 - Nori has eaten the whole head, and some more, and unlike the old days when Elo could peck Nori away from the food, Elo now has to be patient and wait 'till Nori is satisfied, albeit Elo is yelling a lot at Nori to hand over the good stuff.
Image

16:05 - Nori is satisfied and moves some twigs. Now Elo can move in and eat.

Nori needs still a bit more exercising I think, but it's nice to see him make those high "flap-jumps" in the air.

My prediction is that august 8th will be Nori's Big Day.

I agree. But I don't like the weather forecast for the coming days. It seems to be quit a lot of rain.

The older ones hade nice dry weather on their flight-days. I really hope Nori will get that too.

No more railings on the nest - the left side is now so low it looks like a landing ramp. Watch out Nori, don't roll off in your sleep!

Good morning everyone....what a lovely day it is. I just watched Elo enjoying the fish breakfast and noted that he/she did what all the young ones do when eating. Have you noticed they seem to pull long pieces of something from the fish? They look like intestines....and when they pull them out they sort of place them to the side after making a horrible ugly face when they tasted it????? Ewwwwwww.....yuk......then they leave them in the pile.....(guess they're hoping that they will just dry up and go away)....they must taste awful.... :puzzled:
