welcome to pimu24 - just go ahead with comments here in forum even you think your english is poor, by practising it improves. And noone cares about failures, because nevertheless often it is to understand what the meaning is and that´s the most important.

from the latest feeding - junior the third got part of the meal

despite the troubles with transmission it has been a good day with the Osprey family - to see the whole family and that Piret and Madis are doing so well and their youngest too, although it´s no fun to be the youngest of the siblings.

When Madis flew in that huge fish the other night, I had a few moments of similar fear. Trying to rip up the (according to Nancy) not yet dead fish was really hard work and feet and fish kept sliding in different directions with the chicks a bit in danger.

But watching the video it seems that both parents at least have the feet fairly curled up as they circle the nest with the huge stick.

Piret flew away, Madis arrives with a stick and tries to feed little pieces from the tail which was still at the nest.

A video must provide the evidence: I think Dad succeeded feeding a chick.
Madis came to the nest with a stick, "talked" to Mom who let him, and after several attempts it looked as if the chick in the front left swallowed a piece of fish given to him by Madis.

Piret away. Catching another fish?

11.53
Piret back with a stick. Meantime Madis also back in the nest.

11.54
Piret is feeding, Madis must have brought the fish back,
Madis flew away, Piret feeding with back to cam.

12.04
Feeding done, several last calls, but chicks have had enough.

Very funny: Piret is tucking the young ones in all the time, and just now the top wisp of straw-like material blew away.
Piret was looking very surprised after where that went.

Chicks don't like it also, they are struggling from under it any time.

Could it be Piret is protecting them from the sun, by putting all that stuff over them?
They seem hot, are panting.....

Madis brings a fish

and Piret starts feeding.
The chicks are beautiful: in coloring and fluffyness

First the 2 older ones are fed, and when they have enough, the youngest.

17:53 Both parents on the nest. Madis is trying to continue feeding but,it seems to me No 1 chick has a 'head-lock' one one other chick, has been pecking at it..so Madis is eating the pieces himself.
Piret is preening.

18:02 Same situation but Madis has his back to the cam but I don't think any of the chicks are responding to his offer of food. They are lying in a huddle.
18:09 Madis has flown from the nest. Piret still preening.

17.42 Just open cam. and saw Madis eating from a fish. Piret was trying to get it at one point but didn´t succeed
17.44 Madis flew off taking the piece of fish with him
17.52 Madis returned still having a piece of fish. He now tryed to offer small morsels to the chicks, but they were sleepy and didn´t notice even not when Piret tried to help him by making her encouragement sounds. He tryed many times, but in the end he gave up and began for real to eat himself.
Madis is still eating and Piret is preening

18.07 Madis has eaten the last and
18.08 Madis left, Piret still preening
