It can be painfull to watch when there is an aggressive sibling, but it is all about the survival of the fittest. Better to have 1 or 2 very strong healthy chicks than 3 frail and undernurished. Having said that Elo seems to be a bottomless pit and eats more than the others, thats why I think Elo is female as they are the bigger when fully grown.Lets hope Madis catches a whooper soon.

This is going to sound silly, but until today I never realized how BIG the chicks are. the large nest fooled me into thinking they were much smaller. :shock:
