It's a Black Woodpecker at 1.16. They make those calls in the spring.

Thank you JuhaL.
I figured it was too early in the season for the Osprey's, but you never know I thought
Last year when the cam going online on April 30 they where on nest already and maybe with Eggs.
Nobody knows that exactly on that time.

Snowing like mad.
The woods are lovely, dark, and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.

Hi!!
Today in the morning it was still winter in the nest, and now the real spring!:)))

I can not understand in the map on the forum, where are the ospreys, which fly to our nest - soon there will arrive?

Hi all. Great to see familiar names on here from last year. Here's hoping for a successful season. I watched the Piret and Madis nest last year and was glued to the screen. Can anyone please tell me where Piret is as I dont understand the maps ? also I cant seem to get a link to that nest and would love to see the return of of this amazing pair (hopefully). I live in the UK and a lot of Ospey are late this year.
Here's thanking you in anticipation

Hi Millie :hi:

The nestcam from Piret and Madis is not yet online, but surely soon to come.

Piret is around in the Nile Delta in Egypt, perhaps she is waiting for better weather conditions to begin to rush north :D

Thank You, Fleur!
I noticed that the shape of the nest different from what I observed in the past year on the link: http://pontu.eenet.ee/player/kalakotkas.html
Probably, in this socket will not be included vebкамера? And I'm afraid that it is of the slots Mama-Eric died. Fly if there dad Eric? Will there be any other bride?

And while we wait Ulla and Uldis. On the map I can't find them, so I want to believe that they will arrive soon.

Sorry, I'm not very good knowledge in the information on the forum, for the same use the Internet-translator and may be errors in the meaning of the words.

Hello,

I`m Marion from Germany. With my husband and two dogs I live near to Cologne.
Last year I was so glad to watch those wonderful birds Piret, Madis, Nori, Elo and Uno from
June until September.

Now I`m looking forward to seeing them soon, when they come back from Africa.

This year I would like to join your community, while watching the eagles.

Greetings to you all!

:chick: Nori, forever in my heart

Marion T, welcome to the forum

I am sorry that we don't have any information about various nests, yet.

The extended winter weather is delaying the birds. The webcams are probably difficult to access, too, because of snow in the forests.
