Both have no rings - this is the female, she was the under part at the mating. She has a sign, look at her left ankle, the toes are thicker and perhaps she has/had an (old ?) wound on it ...

The woods are lovely, dark, and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.

Spring fever!

At 15:35 he landed straight on her back and left after mating without touching the nest at all.

I didn't see the 'mating' on cam, only from the pics but it does seem the female is not co-operating by lifting her tail. :innocent:
