there's an osprey on the nest - she is singing and singing - it's really really sweet
i have taken screen shots but cannot post them!! she (or he) has been there for a good 10 or so minutes!! it's amazing

i have tried to see if he/she has a ring but i can't see one. i think she hasn't got rings..... (she's still there!)
but she (or he) has a zorro type marking across his/her eyes - attractive!
i think she's trying to get someone's attention - yelling pretty hard for quite a while! very sweet sounding though
edit: also - no 'nestoration' or housework going on as yet

13.42 osprey nest time: she/he flew away - i saw the other ankle and there was no ring.
she or he looks pretty young - lots of very white fluff.... i must look up the information on this!

Usually boys arrive at first and wait the fiancees. We very hope and this year to look after a nest. a web cam was a bit opened out...

mating!! so now i can see the first one is the male - he was here earlier and now the female is here and they have just mated. it's looking promising. neither have rings, no?
