Well, but Ilmars transmitter says he to be at 16:00 about 40km of nest site.

Good morning :hi:
There is a still waiting nest .... perhaps Ilmar made a stop at the Vörtsjärve lake for some fish and now is going to fly the last kilometers to his nest ... hopefully! Fingers crossed that he arrives here at the nest and stayes. :2thumbsup:

12.11 - an osprey with a transmitter landed in the nest
12.19 - the birs id still there, rearranging pine twigs. At first I couldn't see clearly the ring, but now Ilmar showed it :D

Very interesting to watch that. It seems to be a new way to arrange the nest materials. Quite effective too.
But -- he turned his back on the girl and he mantled. Is this another situation where the male is not welcoming to the female?
