A big hello to all you familiar people. Am so pleased to see Piret and Madis's nest again and hope to soon see the return of both our beautiful birds.
I feel sure this is Madis who has returned. Do we know where Piret is??

No, we don't know yet.Millie wrote: Do we know where Piret is??
Her transmitter gave the last signal on 5th April.
We hope that Piret is on her way back to Estonia and Madis.
One planet meets another. Planet 1 says to Planet 2, “Hey you look terrible”. Planet 2 says, “Yes I know. I have Homo Sapiens.” Planet 1 says, “Don’t worry. I had that too and it will soon disappear.

Hello,
Wasn´t it Piret who had a ring...? I think, Madit had none.
Piret S0 was always said, but Madis was just Madis!
So I think it could be Piret just now cleaning up her nest...!

Madis was ringed in Finland on his right leg with a silver, aluminum ring.
Piret was ringed by Urmas, last year, or by one of his colleagues with a silver ring on the right leg, black ring on the left, number S0.

The woods are lovely, dark, and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.

Thanks Nancy I am just trying to catch up with so many nests this year. Last year was much simpler with just Piret and Madis!

Latvian Eriks arrived to the nest site yesterday, but we have no camera on his nest.
Ilze, the female perished in Italy last autumn, was the mate of Eriks.

Compare with European osprey, American osprey is larger, darker bodied and has a paler breast.
So some European male osprey looks pretty much like female osprey if it's in US.

Good morning, everyone. Nice to be back. :)
I really hope, Piret will make it home safely.
Does anyone know how to watch the cam-stream on an iPad? Is there a different link?

Thank you NancyM for opening this new forum for Estonian Osprey NestCam 1 in 2013.
I'm hoping we have another successful season; it looks like there is already one familiar osprey present and making things cozy... A good start!
And thank you to the Eaglemen for all the climbing and installing you've done this spring. I'm following several cams in Estonia and Latvia this year, thanks to your efforts.
