Is there any list of ALL cameras with the name of the inhabitants of the nests?
Hello Janne+Ais. All links to cameras which are oficially opened are on looduskalender.ee

http://www.looduskalender.ee/en/

I think you already know them.
But list of all cameras is good idea.

About the "inhabitants" and some more information, we have started to reserve the first posts of a thread for such information and keep it updated, including the camera links.

Bea, and Janne+Ais, you have highlighted a difficulty which becomes bigger each year. The number of webcams grows - the inhabitants of the nests change and we do need a list, which can be edited, to keep us up to date.
Juta has suggested a remedy which we can try - wait a few minutes -

I have a strong feeling that it will be the transmitter who remains over bridge-for-robots-noidea how it-called and Piret must be OK. Both cranes have the same transmitter problems as Piret.

And if you don’t like to rely on your feelings and prefer mathematics:
the statistical probability, that in an area, where thousands of birds have a rest, among them many ospreys, 2 ospreys, both from Estonia, both with a transmitter, perish, is nearly zero.

But apart from that, I don’t think it’s good that morbid thoughts attend Piret’s flight back home.
Instead of that she needs our positive thoughts for her exhausting journey back home and our pleasant anticipation of her new family!
One planet meets another. Planet 1 says to Planet 2, “Hey you look terrible”. Planet 2 says, “Yes I know. I have Homo Sapiens.” Planet 1 says, “Don’t worry. I had that too and it will soon disappear.

I think what Janne+Ais means is what we call Rainbow Bridge, here in the US.

I can only post the poem and a picture to explain it. We all hope for something like this for animals that we have loved.

From the Dutch Fork Animal Hospital and many, many other places.
The woods are lovely, dark, and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.

Therefore I always become deeply sad, when I see a rainbow in nature.

But away with these pessimistic thoughts! Image

Yes, I knew what is Rainbow Bridge and with "bridge for robots" I meant that broken and not working machines, transmitters, robots etc. may stay in their own "Robot Bridge". Something like that:

Hope this is for Piret's transmitter and Piret is OK.

This topic is for discussion of osprey nests events, rather than specific records of events that take place there ~~NancyM

Yay, Osprey (Madis, I reckon?) is back in the nest! No idea if this will be the thread for the Piret/Madis nest for the spring of 2013? He's crying out for Piret, I'm assuming - knock on wood that she gets back safely! (please please please)

The camera for Madis and Piret is not on line yet - perhaps you were seeing the osprey on Ilmar's nest? http://pontu.eenet.ee/player/kalakotkas2.html

Weather forecast Vöru for the next 3 days: 14°/15°/13°, so the remaining snow should melt. Heavy wind for the next 2 days.
