Good evening! I worried that old tree falls. Fortunately this has not happened. So in spring I'll wait for the moment when Ilmar sit on that old tree and wait for their Irma.Fleur wrote:October 29

Not sure if this is the right topic to ask, but is it already known when the osprey cams will be back online for the coming season?
I know our Baltic ospreys normally return a few weeks later than those from the UK, but since ospreys now daily arrive back to the UK, I'm getting ospreyitus again.

We have no "timetable" for the cams´ openings - when they are there, they are there :)
Referring to last years openings:
- Piret & Madis on April, 16th
- Ilmar & Irma on April, 9th
- Ulla & Uldis on March, 28th
But you are not alone eagerly waiting for the cams going online
Unfortunately there is no tagged Osprey this year, so that we could follow the datas on migration map.
Until cams will open we have to rely on the Baltic ornithologists with their binoculars watching the arrivals of the first Ospreys there

Thanks for your answers Bea.
I assume though that the cams are already back in place, rigged up and in working condition, or will be so pretty soon. It must be busy days for Urmas & friends now, but I hope the guys and gals with the binos will find the time to let us know when they've spotted our feathered friends again, and perhaps give some additional info.
