There is nothing in which the birds differ more from man than the way in which they can build and yet leave a landscape as it was before.

Videos from todays visits from Madis and Piret on their "old" nest

Madis arrives at 04:17, after ~ one minute rustling on the camstand can be heard and Madis begins to behave submissive, so I think Piret arrived at that moment.
No sign for intruder in my eyes.
Piret is on the nest only briefly, Madis leaves at 04:29

---

Second visit - Madis arrives with a bunch of dry grass and does some nestorations.
I think Piret was on the camstand for a time, too. He arrives at 04:33 and leaves at 04:42

Not sure about how this behaviour comes together with the thesis of a breeding couple with chicks in a nest close.
Despite it is known, that they maintain "frustration-nests"

I've asked about the plant on the nest in a botanics forum, and someone says its a Galeopsis species (engl. hempnettle, deutsch Hohlzahn).

Yes, Madis was on the nest from 19:35 'till 19:37

I had the cam open and sound on, but didn't hear him coming nor leaving.

Hello! :hi: 07.12.2014. Madis again in the nest. He landed at 4:09 PM and left at 4:14. I think he brought his stick. In any case, the contents of the nest is changing. This means that Madis visits the nest and carries in it the construction works....

Another sign for it that there is no other nest.
What a sunset. It could have been so wonderful with a family with this view...
