Hungry Elar is fed first, Aino is coming closer, too

From today morning

Irma delivered a new stick at 06:59 (Starling mentioned it with pontu pics) and caused vehement protest from Aino

Irma grabbed it and both Aino and Elar look interested:



Aino is fed first and Elar decides that he is full after all, and moves away from the dinner table. A bit later Elar finds out he still has place left in his crop, so he moves back to Irma for more fish.

15:50 Still Elar at the feeding, he/she getting some rather big parts of the fish, Aino doing other things, not interested in feeding at the moment

Finally Irma appears and takes his fishie and is eating it. Elar is interested to have some now, too.

According to pontu-archive Ilmar left around 16:35 and came back at 16:49, still with headless fish in talon

There were deliveries today morning at 08:59 and 09:13, and it was quite a story around it ..

Delivery from Ilmar was at 08:59, Aino grabbed the fish and began self-feeding, no Irma on the nest, Ilmar leaves


At 09:03 Irma came to the chicks and wanted the fish from Aino to feed them both, but Aino was not willing to share, Irma up on the camstand


At 09:13 Ilmar came with a fresh fish, Irma took it and began to feed the chicks, Ilmar took the old one (Aino had not eaten it all) and flew away with it

18:38 Irma short visit in the nest and then jumping on the cam
18:57 Aino moving closer to the rim, but it's too soon for a fledging. Today Aino is 46 days old.

21:23 - next delivery, which looks like a headless tench. The second after Ilmar landed, Irma jumped down from the cam support:
