I watched it all too. Thanks for your photos, I will not set new ones.
But maybe someone can make a video?( Because of the sounds)

I think we have an interested couple for 2019. MM and a pristine Osprey often seem to be traveling together. They appear at the same time at the nest ... on distance but interested. :shake: Your calls will become more efficient and coordinated. It seems to me that way.

It is interesting to observe, even if the guesses are wrong.

With some time, it is worthwhile to distinguish the males by characteristics. I can not do it yet. Only ... one male has nicely feathered feet.

Maybe I will recognize the favorite in the next few days. :D

The osprey in the nest is the one with the pretty feet. This one seems to see more often - even today.

Since 19:00 (yesterday) I think MM was fighting for the nest with unringed female (it seems that the same bird as on your picture from 9:53)

Hello osprey lovers :hi:

Do you remember the visit of Latvian osprey N59 on this nest? It was on 7. May
viewtopic.php?p=582607#p582607

We got another nice detail about N59 (request from Urmas to Aigars Kalvāns - thank you both!), a picture of the hatching tree of N59

Image

Isn´t it so very "typical osprey"? A very tall and solitary tree top and the nest on the highest point, with perfect overview.

I added the picture as an edit in the post about details of N59

:hi:

Have not much time for now, but a clip about event 09:19. Not sure what to think about it. A dispute or maybe a new couple next season :puzzled: ... maybe a third Osprey in the air :puzzled:
At the end one Osprey pushed out the other one.

Good evening! Thanks for the video, Shanta. In this nest there are interesting events! We have the opportunity to watch as the birds are building relationships with each other. Maybe the couple doesn't make it. However, there is no shortage of applicants for family life in this nest...It seems to me that the osprey that was pushed out of the nest is not familiar to me. :puzzled: Osprey, which pushed like a male (this osprey, which was may 18 at 9:53).

This is interesting! 8-)

Awesome, Bea, thank you for the tree pic (impressive tree). It gives sort of a perspective on how far up these Osprey nests are. 8-)

Hello Gavril :hi:
I find this also so interesting. Shall we do bets on who will occupy the nest next season???

Where's our Mati... or Madis.... :innocent:
Ohhhhh she is very beautiful!

Mati is lost, no doubt. If he wasn't, he would be here.

Madis, we don''t know. Maybe with Piret?
The woods are lovely, dark, and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.
