Is there any news when the black storks will return? Do they have transmitters on them? Hope to see the Padis nest this year.

Padis appeared in "his" nest only in 2011. Toomas visited it last spring one time.

Does Piret need any help from ppl?

Why do you think so?
Piret shows movements every day.
One planet meets another. Planet 1 says to Planet 2, “Hey you look terrible”. Planet 2 says, “Yes I know. I have Homo Sapiens.” Planet 1 says, “Don’t worry. I had that too and it will soon disappear.

It seems strange to me, too. I would be appeased, when Toomas Mikkor or/and Salman could look after her.

This would be great of course, if someone could have a look at Piret.

I think that the map only shows two points... where the bird started and where it went to rest. Let's hope I#m right and Piret just spent the night in nearly the same place.

Piret has been in the same area for weeks and has not really appeared to move, over the past few days, according to the map I've been viewing which is the same one everyone else uses. I am still quite concerned.
The woods are lovely, dark, and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.

Nobody can tell if Piret is injuired.
As it is visible on birdmap all birds with transmitters have turned back to south. As it has been extraordinary March in Europe and Estonia, birds´ behaviour is unusual too. Yesterday there was an interview on TV with longtime birdwatcher Peep Veedla. He said not seeing nothing like that. But he said also there is not reason to concern yet, birds do have enough time for nesting.
