about Karl: "Karl is a male Black Stork with white ring 715R in left leg. He is breeding in Karula National Park, Estonia and was possible to observe through must-toonekurg webcam on his nest. For example such a clip. Karl was caught in foraging grounds (small stream) about 1,5km of nest site. After trapping he did not visit nest for two days, but then common behavior restored. Also he did not learn to avoid nets for trapping, instead ate almost the fish in traps also later (but nobody wanted to re trap him, of course). Autumn migration started at 8th of August 2016. That's shortly after two chicks fledged in nest. After breeding Karl spent time more as 10 km northward of nest site." (from http://birdmap.5dvision.ee/en#)

Solo, thanks for the update. :2thumbsup: My Internet is actually so bad that it's not fun to use it. On Saturday I'm back in Berlin
It is normal, that Birdmap indicates new data not every day. Actually, there are new Data only every 4 - 5 days.
I was surprised, because we have often new Transmitter Data from Karl.

you can read it here: every five days new Data from Eedi 8-)

EDIT: Maris Strazds wrote, that it is not a good sign, that the Storklet is on a cow meadow. earthworms are no sufficient food for Storklets.
