Note: 2 months of daily consultation on Randekaart, 2 months to hope to cross, 2 months to dream of being able to observe such a bird in Long sight. And 2 hours drive to maybe have an appointment of honor with this sacred Tõnn. I arrive on the site for 8:04, I position myself in the valley in front of his place of installation for 8:20. Seeing nothing I go up a little higher to gain altitude to have a better view. It's 8:30 am, I meticulously observe every big softwood where he could have spent the night but nothing. I begin to say that our dear friend Tõnn has set sail for the South because with a -11 °, polar wind, snow between 10 and 30 cm and fog in approach, that would be understandable! Every minute of waiting seemed endless! 8:37, I ask myself serious questions but suddenly, taking off a big spruce, it's Tõnn! Observation during 8 minutes in the valley. Head north for the first minutes and then down on me to go South / West. Unforgettable memories.

Note: Tonn lifted at 9:46. Rest 200m + far to the edge. And remain quiet until 11:48, which will allow Benjamin to join me. Occasionally washing, rarely scoured by 1 or 2 crows, makes a drop in the late morning, then takes off (we almost missed his departure).

Tönn is an impressive bird. Maybe this is too much human projection, but I have the impression that Tönn looks very self-confident, contented and wise.
