The map seems not to work for me.
Every time I click 2017, the possibility to have a look at the birds, vanishes.
What do I make wrong?
Edit:
Oh, now I've got it!
I forgot to klick 2017 AND the north arrow!

This new birdmap version has its quirks. It took me a while to get used to it.
In my humble opinion the update/refresh of bird positions lags behind. Today is 22.3.17 (3:40 pm) and the latest
date/update which can be chosen is 19.3.17. Maybe I am missing some feature, though.

Sasa. I think that the Kotkaklubi people don't get new information every day. Perhaps it is every 3 or 5 days, so they can only update the map with the information that they get.
If anyone knows more about this, please tell us!

With datas from 23. March our osprey Kalle made already quite a pace North, is shown now in Tchad, area Ndjamena.
Still not much new from Markus and Vadim.

I don't know whether the old birdmap had this feature, but it is certainly new for me.
I discovered that when you click on a certain bird, you can see it's migration in different years.
I was wondering why LSE Karin flew in totally different direction at first and saw that she has used the same route in 2015.

Migration map will be updated if there are new data are available, for example in Ecotone server there was some problem since 20th, therefore four days new data were missing. Microwave transmitters send data after every three days usually. So certain gaps on map appeared. Hope everything goes well in near future, when migration lasts.
Delays may occur also if I'm not near internet access some days...

Thank you, Urmas, you're very kind. And the new feature with the option for the previous year is very insightful.

Osprey Markus sent datas and is also in Tchad already, more in the center than Kalle was shown last (area N´Djamena).
Still no news from Vadim.

Well not a problem really but a feature, could it be possible to see dates for latest recorded data on each bird on Birdmap
When lately following Tõnn migration there were differences in updating the map and moving the slide at the bottom?
