The eagle Tonn appeas to have headed back north. When I zoomed right in on the map, his change in direction was almost over a windfarm.

Does anyone know if the turbines can affect birds' navigation? I can't find anything definitive via google.

Good evening! :wave:

There is a new osprey on the map.

OSLV02

Is it a young or an adult bird?

I think it must be an adult. Juveniles couldn't be so far on migration yet.

Somewhere, Urmas posted about this new Osprey on the map - I think he said the bird was from Latvia ( OS= osprey, LV= Latvia). I cannot find his post now :cry:

~~~
OK, I found it. It is the post on the map itself
quote:
"Piret has been tagged within ESTLAT Eagles project and there will be shown three Ospreys more, one from Estonia and two from Latvia."
Of course, that does not answer Macko's question.
