Few minutes after 21 Lotte left the nest and returned with a white rodent (mouse?). She ate it whole.

The owlet on the right side is pecking at Mom's plumage now and then. I think, it is hungry!

19:50 Feeding. I haven't seen, when it starts.
Finished after three minutes.

May 4th

Bea, between 7:30 to 8:00 a delivery must be carried out. Did you recorded it?

No, unfortunately I have no record about this time. There was again a restart of the cam during night time and so my record stopped. I had not yet restarted recording in the morning.

11:57 Feeding begins. I can see three beaks. ...and the 4th belongs Lotte.

12:18 Lunch is finished. Lotte puts the remains of the rat to the left and cleans the ground.

am vergangenen Samstag war im verbliebenen Ei bereits ein Loch zu sehen. Am heutigen Montagabend konnten wir in recht guter Bildqualität, und nicht durch Lottes Körper verdeckt, eine wunderschöne Fütterung beobachten.

Alle drei Uhuküken wurden ausreichend versorgt. Hoffentlich klappt die Nahrungsversorgung weiterhin gut, damit uns Dramen wie im vergangenen Jahr erspart bleiben.

Dear eagle owl friends,

last Saturday was already a hole to be seen in the remaining egg. On Monday evening we could observe in pretty good picture quality, and not covered by Lotte's body, a wonderful feeding.

All three owlets were supplied adequately. Hopefully the food supply works furthermore well, so that we will be spared by dramas like past year.
