On the website, the nestbox owner wrote that they still hear them begging at night, but that they don't see them anymore (hidden too well in the trees).
Youngest owlet fledges:

There are several other photo's from the time just after fledging and a clip " growing from day to day":

They plan to have the webcams again next season, and then with sound.

I just found back a nice Barn Owl cam - Heligan world: link

There are 5 chicks (oldest now 17 days already, youngest 7 days).

I was fascinated to watch the littlest one leaving the nest. I know that the small ones get care of the parents for some time. But I dont know wether the siblings find together after leaving the "nest" or are sitting alone somewhere near by.
Now I will watch the owls on Beleef de Lente.
Greetings from Bleggi :hi:
After leaving the nest owlets sit in trees close near one from other. Of course they don't sit side by side. Parents care about small ones during about two till three months.

Bleggi, yesterday the people from the Tawny Owl webcam uploaded a video with pictures and
pieces of film of the mother owl and the young owls in the trees:

Then, I also found another clip of 2 Tawny Owl pairs + their 4 chicks
(recorded in a park in my home town! never realised they were so close and would do so well in a city park):

Bosuil: I like to thank you for all the pictures and reports about owls life. It is very interesting to learn more about their life.
And also to all the other Looduskalender-Friends who help to find answers when I have a question. Above all I would like to say "thank you" for your patience with my puzzled english sentences. The mainthing is you understand what I mean.
Most of the owls now have left the nest or will do it soon. So the saison is over and I hope, that we will have another nest with Tawny Owls in Estland in 2013 like we had it two years ago.
Yours, Bleggi :hi:

News....
Pot Plant Owl has laid 2 more eggs. .

Post from the FB page. .

PPO is nesting again. She's currently sitting on two eggs, but we don't think they will be viable. From the end of her first attempt this season to the laying of these two eggs, we've seen very little copulating and frantic excitement that is usually typical of the start of each of our breeding seasons. It is past 3 days from the last egg laid, so I don't believe she will sit on any more than these two eggs.
We're not putting on the webcam at this time. The webcam will only go on if the eggs are viable and there is a family to watch.
PPO is doing very well and happily settled into the 'newer' nest again. Pappa visits with food and wakes me up with his hooting. Will keep you posted!

I just read in Facebook - Pot Plant Owl has two chicks! :headroll:
“One can measure the greatness and the moral progress of a nation by looking at how it treats its animals” (Mahatma Gandhi)
"You can judge a man's true character by the way he treats his fellow animals" (Paul McCartney)

Kip I heard from another forum last night that a Trojan Horse (bad virus) is lurking there so I changed to the ustream link, just in case and I then did a scan on the computer just to be sure.

I'm so sorry to hear that one of the chicks of PPO passed away  .
Hopefully the other one is strong enough to survive.
