A program called "Replay Video Capture" (or another one, called Media Capture) and other programs can be used to record any video stream. http://www.applian.com/

Here is a nice summary video of the nesting season of Eagle Owl (Bubo Bubo) in Netherlands.
Will be interesting for those who was watching and those who missed it can a little bit catch up
http://www.beleefdelente.nl/oehoe
It's on top of the list, called "29-06: Afscheid Bubo Bubo 2010"

Thank you for the link - nice summary indeed! I wouldn't find it without your help, don't understand a word in this language.

Beautiful birds, adorable chicks - well, it seems chicks are always cute, no matter how their parents look like. :D

In this video my favourite is what one of the chicks does with his/her wings, the posture (4.19 - 4.45) - wonderful and lovely and funny. :D

I recommend listening to the Netherland's owl-cam in the early morning: its the best morning concert one can hear (if you don't already live in rural surroudings). At first a duett for two owls and then the dawn chorus of the songbirds. But you have to listen before 7 h Central European time, because after that the quarry starts working.

In the video posted 13th March I see no less than 3 frogs hopping merrily along in front of the Eagle Owl who watches them passing by with a lazy eye. :rotf:
She can't be very hungry.!

:puzzled: Maybe the owl is in the pathway of frogs going to mate in the quarry ?

She is often there, but mostly in the background. One could hear her but only when the Zoom was driven back, she was to be seen under the cam and a moment later she was gone:

Edit: Sorry, but I don't know, why I posted the picture from the SWF-Uhu (Eagle-owl)-Cam here . . .

The Eagle-Owl from beleef de lente has got her first chick that hatched the day bevor yesterday. Today around 10.40 pm the chick was fed.

Why I posted the above picture from the Eifel-Eagle-Owl here in the wrong forum thread I don't know anymore.

Obviously, she is with child and very defensive. I'll subdue her with this large piece of wood. (c) Raccoon Willie
