Maybe I missed something but I heard no Eagle Owl this morning

Are they going to finish this noisy work ever? I prefer to hear owls!

Machines and tractors from the – probably – winegrowers are to hear. It sounds as if they are directly below the ledge. Maybe that’s the reason, why no Eagle Owls are near today.

No eagle-owls visible on the Pixtura archive, but it captured a dormouse(?) twice last night:

13:32 - Male Eagle Owl calls, some *houuuu* and staccato *hu-hu-hu-hu-hu-hu*, too - but it was a bit higher pitched male voice than usual

14:36 - again some calls, but all quite distant

13:32 - a few ooh-hoo's from a male nearby, followed by short hoo-hoo-hoo-hoo-hoo

17:25 - Female reply in far distance, difficult to hear .... much traffic sound!
