Lately I have no luck to watch owls, they visit the nest while I am on the way from work to home. Thank you Bea for your reports.

15:14 Calling far away. Not often to be heard.
15:55 Once more calling in the distance.
16:19 The voice is once more to be heard. It seems to be no longer so far away.
16:58 "Uu-huu!"

After Heinzl had been sitting there a while, at 17:24 suddenly his behaviour changed, when Lotte landed on the ledge
He began to move and scratch in the nestbowl, to show her what a cracker he is

Lotte is walking to the nestbowl and surprisingly Heinzl is not taking off immediately, but stays a bit close to Lotte, who is acting in the nestbowl.
He takes off at 17:30, Lotte stays until 17:33

Gisela, I can imagine now how your little granddaughter walks

Wonderful the scene with Heinzl & Lotte in the nestbowl.
They give us the hope of the next offspring...!
Thanks for sharing it with us, Bea.
