The female prepares the nest bowl, maybe she will lay an egg soon.

She had just come back, and she was always in the hollow. It looks like brood preparation.
The Falcon-Cam in Bavaria goes again, but no one there

Red-tailed Hawks, Fernow Nest, Ithaca, NY
The two red-tailed hawks started their breeding season. They come daily, bring the nesting material and prepare the "bowl"...
Mom: Big Red (redish color, ring on the right leg)
Dad: Ezra (grayish head, ring on the left leg)
Ezra and his beautiful red tail...
Both on the tower
Big Red is closer to the camera...

It's really difficult and our time is never enough!
In this season my favorite cam is the poor Bald Eagles pair on Santa Cruz Island. I hope really, that they have a second clutch with healthy eggs...

In Memmingen, where we have seen the barn owl`s, we may now be attracted by kestrel falcons. A few days ago the male and today the female was there.

That s interesting. They (kestrels and barn owls) use to fight over the same nests and we can witness here that they probably successfully swap over this nest. It would be great to have any inhabitants here because Memmingen s staff and the owner of the barn were really very careful people. Would like to watch this nest againJujani wrote:In Memmingen, where we have seen the barn owl`s, we may now be attracted by kestrel falcons. A few days ago the male and today the female was there.

This cam is with sound. In last season there were four chicks, but only two are fledged!
I think Mommy is in the box.

Mom leaves, Dad comes into the nest box.
And now he incubates the first egg.
