BTW: In my case, it probably shouldn't be called "watching". It's more like checking a couple of times per day, what happened within last two hours. ;-)

EDIT:
11:05 - Male brings a frog. Eaglet actually holds the prey, but this time the frog is "very alive" and escapes. Youngster doesn't exactly understand what has happened and looks for the frog.

Wow, it was funny to watch - lesson for youngster: Less to speak, more to act. :rotf:

11:11 Instead of eating frog we could see some wing flappings. Wings will be ready for flying very soon...

P.S. I also mostly watch the cam by "checking" and reviewing last 2 hours...

Jujani, there was only one parent in that time... that one with a frog and you have captured it on your pictures. I cant say if it was mom or dad...

18:23 Swallowing last long pieces (feet?) of prey. Our Chick is a real raptor. Eating everything with a pleasure and feeding himself independently in 90%.

I couldn't follow much of the events today. Uncomplete report from the day so far:
11:19 - Female brings a frog.
16:22 - Male comes with a vole.
16:29 - Another vole delivered by male.
16:41 - Male in with next vole.
17:05 - Male is in hunting trance. Yes, another vole brought by male. Female is in the nest at this time (she came at 17:04 with a green twig):

None of those preys escaped ;-).

18:37 - Female brings a frog. Always hungry eaglet begins to eat the amphibian.

I couldnt watch today but your report BigDee shows real "hunting trance" of dad... :rotf:
And also bottomless crop of the eaglet!
This is a life! La vita e bella! :D
-----
What a lucky guy comparing other chicks - for example Estonian triplets where their daily dose was sometimes the only one bite of fish before it slipped and
fell down...

19:35 Chick was already prepared for sleeping close to mom, but Dad has brought a frog for "good night". Chick is full. Frog is alive.

I could watch today only these few "events":

9:01 Mom delivered a big frog!
10:35 Parent delivered something quite big but I dont know what it was.
13:42 Chick regurgitated a pellet
Image

There was a lot of sun bathing with spread wings between 13:50 and the next event.
14:33 Parent brings a frog, then moves to that side where pellet was and eats something for 2 minutes. It seems that the parent cleans the nest from all small leftovers and Adult leaves the nest with another small part in the beak at 14:36. In between this parent also ate something from delivered frog and tried to take a frog from chick, but the eaglet took it back and swallowed it. Who was it? Mom or dad? I guess mom...

And I ve seen the eaglet to make two shots in 10:26 and 13:59 so our chick is healthy and doesnt have any digestion problems :D

I ve got a wrong impression yesterday that this transmission has ended.

Fortunately cam is working again!

Our chick is already a big, very dark and beautiful eaglet!
A lot of preening and looking over the nest edge, not a lot of calling. Chick looks very relaxed (it got probably nice breakfast before)

10:37 Mom brings a twig, the eaglet later plays with it and redecorates the nest
11:16 Dad brings a vole (with some dry grass in the talons), the eaglet swallows all of that :rotf:
