Not only you, BigDee.

I was also pretty sure that they are still in the forest... :loveshower:

As far as I remember, the last public transmission day was 4th of September. Now the University of Białystok published a video from the last visit of the eaglet (5th of September):

See you next season!

I check the university's site quite regularly now, so when any news appear, I or someone else will for sure create new topic for the streaming in 2017.
I hope, we can follow the eagles soon.

I'm sorry, I do not know anything about the camera this year.
So wrote the administrator of the university website on Facebook.

I am very unhappy with this answer. Just like you, I was hoping that this year we will also be able to see the Podlasie Lesser Spotted Eagles

What a bad news!
It was so great camera! I believed that UNI people will continue in monitoring the eagle pair and its offsprings. What a pity!

Thank you, bielikoholik.
Video with sound is what we really needed. There is also a convenient feature for making screenshots (by clicking the camera button).
---
The wood is very vivid, with a lot of birds, but there is also at least one near village (sounds of barking dogs) and probably a road with quite much traffic.
It looks like the people, who installed the camera, brought some fresh sticks to the nest to make the eagles' life easier.

It seems to me that from Tuesday around the nest you hear a lesser spotted eagle, but I have not seen him in the nest yet.

I look so often, but I have not seen a bird. I always hear many bird voices, unfortunately I can not recognize them.

Link to video published by the university (male bringing a vole as a gift for female):
https://youtu.be/jrA2wyDzVTU

The female (on the right) looks very different than female from last summer. The reason can be, that the plumage got bright in the strong African sun and it will take some time for her to get the color we saw last year.
