Hello and sorry for my english.

Here, in Latvia we call female - Grieta and male - Gints (like Peer Gynt).

Today female left at 14:30, and Gints arrived after 15 minutes with food (I didn't see what it was). :) He waited for a while, then ate Grieta's food. :slap: And he incubated till 15:15.
Now they are both at 15:15.

Edit: Male left after minute, and female is incubating.

Hi, LAT-eagle  Welcome to the company!

I have pics of the both on the nest at 15:17, but I can put them here just later.. Oh, what nice names, thank you!

Grieta - female!
Gints - male!

:loveshower:

My English is quite poor, something I have learnt here, but.. Please: Do not care, LAT-eagle. Here poor english is always good enough!

Here are two pictures to see differences between Grieta un Gints. I know that it is too complicated to regognize birds from only two pictures. (Pictures are taken by another observer).

Grieta is bigger, darker, with angrier face and white brows, and her head like lying egg :innocent: :

Gints is lighter, with longer and more yellow beak, he has fluffier knickerbockers ( ), and his head is rounder :

Hello, and welcome, Grieta and LAT Eagle.
Great to have you here, to help us with information.

Which day are you starting to watch for signs of hatching?

Do you think the eggs will have suffered at all, from that period when they were exposed during adults' absence?
The confusion here started on page 2
