Broadcasting is going through Teici Reserve server and this server can't provide a lot of people viewing. If server overload, it will stop record information for scientific purposes Teici Reserve.

Address http://www.pomarina.lv is opening for true LSE-lovers and entreaty, if you not look on the screen - disable broadcasting, please

p.s. sofija1001, I wrote for you personal mesage

Dr. Ugis Bergmanis has requested that this forum does not publicise the Latvian webcam, for the reason that Grieta gave in her post. I have removed the link, of course, as LKF would not want to do anything to jeopardise the study of LSEs in Latvia.

A kindly reminder about the Latvian LSE webcam. If you have saved the link, please be very economical in your use of it. There are sometimes too many viewers and the stream freezes or stops completely.
It seems that the stream can support maybe 10 viewers - more than that and the researchers are unable to view it.

Thanks, everyone.

Yes, I have e-mail from Dr. Ugis Bergmanis, telling me that the link is ready now.

Grieta, thanks!

I went to the webcam, and, if you can see through all that rain, there is an adult on the nest!

Hooray, another occupied nest for us to see, now.

Grieta, do you know when we can expect these eggs to hatch - I don't know if the time of egg-laying is known?

Weird, but I am really glad that only one egg left. At least nobody will die this time, broken egg is not death.

Grieta left and I don't see any eggs in the nest, omnly something white in the middle. Is it a newborn chick already or... last year repeated? :puzzled:

In the nest I see 1 egg. Grieta incubated.

This year Grieta laid two eggs - on 27 April and 1 May.

Beautiful pictures, kuremari - thank you! I found a little article on LK that one egg was crushed, http://www.looduskalender.ee/en/node/7500 but having one chick hatch and grow up would be perfect here.

That's a great news!!! :loveshower: :bounce: :loveshower:

I opened the cam at 17.12, the chick was alone at the moment, but a parent arrived in few seconds and is lying in the nest now.

The wind is very strong  , sometimes the nest disappears from the cam completely!
But the annoying plant stays at it's annoying place and hides the chick from viewers.
